DR SEAN O'CALLAGHAN

GP Partner

Sean graduated with a Medical Degree from RCSI in 1998. He obtained his Membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners in 2004 and is on the Specialist Register of the Irish Medical Council. His Interests are Paediatrics, General medicine, Medicine for the elderly & Occupational Health.
Sean is committed to the next generation of doctors. He is involved in teaching undergraduate Medical Students from both Trinity College and the RCSI. Although a proud Tipperary Man, he is married to a lady from Dublin and they have 2 beautiful daughters. A keen Munster Rugby supporter, he is happy to be in partnership with a fellow GP, Dr. Mark O Sullivan, who happens to be a Leinster Rugby supporter.

DR MARK O'SULLIVAN

GP Partner

Mark graduated from University College Dublin in 1998 and has been working in general practice for the last 19 years. He has a broad background in medicine, obstetrics & women’s health, paediatrics and psychiatry. He is a member of both the Irish & English Colleges of General Practitioners and registered as a Specialist in General Practice with the Irish Medical Council. He has postgraduate qualifications in each of his particular areas of interest, including Dermatology, Family planning, Minor surgery and Palliative care. Mark has a strong background in preventative medicine and a keen interest in ongoing medical education. Mark is married with three gorgeous children who have delight in taking up most of his time. What time is left is spent either adding to his ever-expanding music collection or at the RDS supporting Leinster Rugby.

DR CIARA MCKENNA

GP

Ciara graduated with a medical degree from Trinity College in 2010. She completed her GP training in the sunny South East in 2015. Her special interests are Women's health, contraception/family planning and musculoskeletal medicine with further postgraduate qualifications in these areas. Ciara is available Wednesday & Friday afternoons by appointment only.

EIMEAR LEE

Practice Nurse

Our nurse Eimear is delighted to help you with your health care needs. She has many years experience in practice nursing. Eimear completed her general nursing training degree through TCD and Tallaght hospital, after which she worked on a medical/surgical ward in Tallaght hospital for 8 years before deciding to change direction and be a practice nurse. Some of the services she can provide include:
Cervical smears, blood tests, ECG’s, 24 hour blood pressure monitoring, blood pressure checks, removal of stitches, wound dressings, childhood immunisations, chronic illness management, diabetic reviews, health advice and education. Eimear currently sits Monday - Wednesday 9am - 12pm.

RACHEL BYRNE

Practice Manager

Rachel joined Grange Road Family Practice in April 2016 as a practice secretary, having spent the previous five years working in General Practice administration and assistant management. Rachel completed the ICGP Medical Staff course in 2015 and successfully completed a Diploma in Management in Practice run by the Irish College of General Practitioners. Rachel is heavily involved in the day to day running of the practice and provides an invaluable supportive role to the GP partners, patients and staff.
